Standard operating procedure
  1. Identify a missing component or pattern.
  2. Build the proposal here using locked design system tokens.
  3. Review with stakeholders — iterate until approved.
  4. Promote approved proposals to design-system-final-2026-05-01.html in the appropriate group.
  5. Update the floating nav in the final to reflect the new section(s).
  6. Reset this playground for the next round.
Rule: Never modify the final design system before a proposal has been explicitly approved.
